Living in Oahu for a bit

Hey i haven't used this blog in a while but i guess i should. Im living on Oahu off my bike having a blast playing bike polo and participating in every bike event i can. Just did a time trial a few days ago!

Valkyrie

Another Valkyrie, I was thinking of a design when i made this made by Gill Kane, "Brunnhidle" a character he drew for Richard Wagners opera to comic adaption of "the Ring of the Nibelung".

Lee Ink Wash

I believe his name was lee, a model from my figure painting class who is an archaeologist. He ended up looking kinda like a cowboy or buccaneer.

bike sketch

I design and build fantasy bikes in my spare time and am involved in alternative transportation celebrations known as Criticall Mass, i approach my bikes like functional sculpture.

Sarah Ink Wash

I colored my black and white ink wash digitaly in photoshop, i have been playing with this colorization aproach for a while now, tackling structure and value with one medium and color digitaly. Its great time wise for figure drawing.

Laura ink wash

Im thinking of doing a few prints of this one, Laura really liked it, the hand is matts, she often brings in another model to do a dual pose with.

I liked the emotion in this one.

I really got into this one, I enjoy depicting characters from Norse Mythology, this is none other than a Valkyrie.

"Tesla"

Here is "Tesla", a character created by Wendy Marshall for her Comic book. I drew this without any reference so she probably is not that accurate to form, but i liked the poses.
